It was a soggy Saturday. The rain predictions were 100% correct. Rain and more rain.
The daffodils blooms hung graceful, downed by the steady rain.

The vibrant yellow of early spring isn’t harsh. Instead, it holds a promise that spring to come.
Hope for the future.
plans for hope and a future
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future“. Jeremiah 29:11
Jeremiah 29:11-14 especially verse 11 are often ones I regularly pray for myself, my family, children and grandchildren. They are reassuring.
It is often amazing to me that even in our retirement years that He continues to have plans for our future!
He has never failed to listen to me. Was He prompt with a response? Some times.
When He does show He heard, I am so astonished the the Creator and God of the Universe heard me. At the same time I am confident that He did and would respond.
Mind you it isn’t always what I wanted or expected.
don’t want to miss his mercy or grace or forgivness
Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, Jeremiah 29:12-13
Meg often meets us at our local diner for Sunday breakfast after services. We go to different churches. The main point is they are happening!
Love the undistracted time for conversations. Sometimes they may be more of a serious nature. Once your kids are adults, out of the house, uninterrupted time is not always easy to carve out.
Finding those special times for conversations with adult kids is so precious. You got to be intentional and ready for the impromptu!
A promise He will be found
I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, Jeremiah 29:13

Jeremiah 29:11 has been a special verse for me. Our youngest grandson was diagnosed with learning disabilities several years ago. At his baby dedication a friend suggested this verse for my daughter to use. It was perfect for his life. He was diagnosed with learning deficiencies at a young age. But he has blossomed through all his difficulties! He is a handsome, sweet 23 year old man with a job and plays in our church orchestra.❤️
