Melting weather is coming! Yesterday may just have been the last fun day in the snow!
What would be better than a day together?
Movie and dinner plus a lot of play!
“Frozen” is a new favorite movie. There are princesses, misguided and evil powerful men and a new twist to most Disney princess movies. No sister rivalry, no savior prince, and no evil witch. Something for every age.
Great music! Beautiful animation that is magical and enchanting.
There are distinction in the sisters’ dress…adult and younger.
It is story of confusion, denial of emotion and feelings in order to have control. Hiding and searching. It is a love story, a love story of sacrificial love, a true act of love.
A favorite line…You’re engaged after only knowing him one day!!??? You can’t do that!
A story old as time. A girl who takes a risk for something VERY important.
There was a lot to like about this movie.
What is the next best thing to an ice palace or palace skating rink like Elsa gave to Anna and her subjects???
Grandma’s backyard, of course!!
Aunt Amy pulling the sled loaded with Sweet Peas. She’s cuter than Sven, the reindeer.
Dinner at the big table. Conversation. Little Edi who will be 3 in March asked her daddy how his day was. They have been practicing conversation skills over the evening meal.
Time to go home…dressed in PJ’s ready for bed and sweet dreams. Sweet endings to the Frozen day.
How did you spend Presidents’ Day? How did you teach or learn conversational skills?
