The Leap Year tablescape for our sweet Meg’s 6th birhday was simple and fun!

elements to Birthday Tablescape

Birthday Tablescape
  1. Black Checked Tablecloth
  2. Lenox Autumn Fine China
  3. Family Silver
  4. Serving dishes
  5. Party Hats and Streamers in primary colors
  6. Ballons
  7. Flowers from local grocery store
  8. Primary Colored MnM’s

Yes, there is butter and a drink can. I snapped the photos quickly. The photos aren’t prefectly staged! I actually forgot to get them before we starting bring the food in!!

Amy picked up hats and streamers to hang from the chandelier and to run down the table.

Amy picked up party decor and favors. Instead of a cake, we had cupcakes with a mix of flavors from Lancaster Cupcakes!  https://www.lancastercupcake.com/in-store-events.

I used Lenox Autumn china. It is versatile for the variety of colors and is dishwasher safe!

The grocery store flowers were white and reminded me of meadow flowers. Sprinkled MnM’s complete the simple centerpiece. I often use candy with matching colors or wrappers for my tablescapes

The simple and easy to create table centerpiece left room for the food that would be served family style.

Of course, there were balloons. Meg loves, loves balloons!

The cute big 6 candle and some singles was blown out successfully.  The annual birthday photo with Meg wearing the ‘crown’ and Jim and I was snapped.

Cupcakes and ice cream was served with a fun finish to the celebration.

We had fun with poppers and singing. The nieces and nephew really enjoyed chosing one of the special flavored cupckae. Meg enjoyed her party and so did the rest of us!
